George Reynolds was born in Ann Arbor Michigan and moved to the Connecticut River Valley in 1970 to attend Wesleyan University. He has been a mathematician and computer scientist, teaching at Union College and the University of Massachusetts Amherst and subsequently working as a software architect at various Western Massachusetts companies. His interests are music (old-time fiddle and piano), gardening, and static and dynamic sculpture. He currently lives and works in Whately, MA with his wife Nancy Sherman.
